What will you learn in our web development bootcamp?

You’ll focus on the flexible, powerful React framework and library within a full tech stack that includes JavaScript, NodeJS, PostgreSQL and Redux.

  1. JavaScript, HTML, CSS: front-end languages
    • Why we teach it: JavaScript is the only programming language used in front-end web development. We teach the modern standard. We also teach HTML and CSS, markup languages that complement JavaScript.
  2. React: JavaScript based UI development library
    • Why we teach it: React, originally invented by Meta, is an innovative front-end library that enhances the build process for developing modular and quick web applications. It’s widely used across thousands of companies.
  3. NodeJS: back-end language
    • Why we teach it: Node is a popular back-end coding language used by organizations around the world. Node allows you to create back-end functionality using Javascript and reduces the need to learn yet another language solely for back-end.
  4. PostgreSQL: database language
    • Why we teach it: PostgreSQL is an open-source and free to use relational database language. Once students understand PostgreSQL, learning other databases is straightforward.
  5. Redux: open-source JavaScript library
    • Why we teach it: Redux is a state management system used by large infrastructure companies that handle a lot of information at once. Redux integrates with Javascript and React to simplify your state variables and make development easier.
