A weird guy once came into our campus to tell us that in two years there would be no more websites. We don’t want to shock you, but it turns out that guy was wrong.

There are constantly new sites, web applications, or software being created, updated, or maintained. Working hard in our Web Development program can prepare you for entry-level positions in front-end development, back-end development, and some full-stack development.

If you already have a career you love, adding web development skills can make you an even better marketer, project manager, product manager, technical recruiter, or entrepreneur.

FRED

Designed to Fit into Your Life

The typical Lehi coding bootcamp student is a busy student. We might have bills, work, spouses, kids, and more all competing for our time. Most of us can’t take four years off to “find ourselves” and finish a degree.

The beauty of our coding bootcamp is that we offer two great ways to learn the skills that can launch your career. Both of which are available online and in-person. Explore all available courses.

The full-time program is completely disruptive for a short amount of time, which can make it less disruptive to your overall life. Think of it like ripping the bandage off quickly, then moving on with your life.

The part-time program allows students to go at a slower pace on nights and weekends. The program will take a few more months and a bit more grit to complete, but it’s possible to do it with day-time commitments.

Are you ready to take your seat at the table?

We think deep down you can feel there’s something waiting for you — a chance to hone your skills, earn respect, and claim a spot in the life you deserve.

So what are you waiting for? Nothing changes unless you do.

Traditional paths and four-year degrees may not work for everyone, and some coding bootcamps either charge a lot more, have much less experience, or don’t have a campus in Lehi. The first step in getting where you belong is being here with us.

DELIVERING QUALITY BOOTCAMPS FOR 10 YEARS

We have thousands of graduates and lots of experience. You can probably find some bootcamps that are older, and some that are cheaper, but we encourage you to compare and try to find a bootcamp with more experience for less money.

Lehi, Utah Coding Bootcamp —Frequently Asked Questions...

First, students must be 18 years old by the time their course begins, have a high school diploma (or its equivalent), and complete an application.

Second, you will need to be able to attend classes, in-person, at our Lehi bootcamp.

There are two ways to answer this question.

First, our full-stack Utah bootcamp is designed so that people with basic computer literacy should be able to graduate. For instance, you don’t need to have been coding since the days of Fortran, but you should feel comfortable installing programs and apps on your computer without regularly asking someone for help.

Second, all that said, we aren’t sure why anyone would choose to study something they have no experience with. A little experience with programming will not only help you complete your coding course, but it will help you feel confident that you’re studying something you enjoy.

It’s called a “bootcamp” for a reason.

Students learning to code in Lehi should be busy for about eight hours a day for five days a week, with some homework scattered through your nights and weekends.

In the first part of the program, students have regular lectures with time to practice what they’ve been taught. In the second half, they will largely do project work with the help of fellow students and Devmountain staff.

This is hard to pin down because so much of the bootcamp environment will depend on the people you study with, and each cohort is different.

Often times our students become friends in a way only possible when people accomplish something really hard together. When everyone is working together, swapping ideas, or letting off steam, there is a bit of electricity in the air. It’s fun. (Especially for those of us who just get to sit back and watch.)

More than once we’ve heard students say that campus was one of the few places where they really felt like they belonged.

As for amenities, those will differ by campus. You can see some information about the Lehi coding bootcamp amenities below. Reach out to an admissions counselor if you’d like to know more.

Utah bootcamp students will be taught to build web applications with full-stack development (front-end and back-end) with an emphasis on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

We also hope you’ll learn how to solve problems, find answers, work together, have a great time (even under stress), hit deadlines, and believe in yourself.

If you’d like more details, feel free to register for an info session below or reach out to an admissions counselor.

Both courses have the same learning objectives and will teach the skills often needed for entry-level careers in web development.

The full-time course usually meets during business hours, Monday through Friday for about three months.

The part-time course usually meets Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and on Saturdays, and can take more than twice as long to complete.

We understand the desire to be reassured, but this isn’t something anyone can know in advance. (And beware of anyone who tells you they can.)

What we can tell you is our Outcomes Team tracks each and every recent graduate and their employment status. They are ready to help you polish your LinkedIn profile, optimize your resume, prepare for interviews, and help in many other ways.

If you want to learn more, we encourage you to look at our published Outcomes Report and research job demand from reputable sources. As you do so, keep in mind demand can vary a lot by circumstance and region, and high demand is still not a guarantee of employment.

We cannot tell you how much you might spend, but we can tell you how much we will charge. Tuition for our Lehi in-person Web Development Bootcamp is $5,000 (with limited scholarships available).

Some students choose to finance their tuition with loans, sometimes including a cost of living stipend. How much those students pay will be affected by the terms of their agreements with the lenders.

Finally, some students may buy new computers or choose to supplement their training with other resources.

Applications have three parts.

First, you’ll fill out your personal information, which usually takes around 15 minutes.

Next, you’ll schedule a consultation with an admissions counselor. (This is our chance to make sure you’re a real person and your chance to ask any questions.) This can take 15-30 minutes.

Finally, you’ll complete a skill review, which can give you an idea of whether you’re ready for the program or what you might need to work on first. This is done online and usually takes about 30 minutes.

Once you’ve completed all that, you should receive an admissions decision. At that point, it’s up to you whether you want to move forward and enroll or pursue other options. There is no commitment until you make a seat deposit.

It’s a coding thing. If you don’t already know about it, you should totally enroll for the best coding bootcamp in Utah to learn more.

Do you have a different question? Well, aren’t you precocious! Feel free to reach out to us any time about any old thing.Â
