This course is for students who have experience with Salesforce administration and want to learn how to code to upgrade their salary and become a Salesforce developer.
Don't have any experience with Salesforce but still want to become a Salesforce Developer? If you have existing experience with development/code, we suggest checking out our Salesforce Development course geared towards students with existing experience with code.
Our 12-week Salesforce bootcamp will prepare you with the skills needed to become a competitive candidate for a junior-level Salesforce Developer position. Instruction consists of pre-course work, instructor lectures, guest lectures, guided projects, individual projects, group projects, and real projects with corporate clients. Students will work collaboratively with the lead instructor and mentors throughout the course. You will learn how to develop in Salesforce using Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce Lightning. We will provide you with the skills, direction, and resources you will need to solve the most difficult business problems.
In our Salesforce Development bootcamp, you will be able to plug yourself into a culture of creating, building, and achieving success with like minded people. DevMountain is staffed by expert faculty who love sharing their craft, and are constantly empowering the next wave of Salesforce experts, with enthusiasm and advanced knowledge.
Established Salesforce developers, alumni, and industry experts will all get involved in your education. That makes for a perfect combination of mentors who know you inside and out, and who can help to guide your progress along this journey
You will also get the opportunity to work on real Salesforce projects with real development teams. DevMountain has partnered with local companies to get you real, hands on Salesforce coding and development experience.
Our primary focus is helping you upgrade your career into Salesforce development. That is why you’ll have access to career guidance counselors. These counselors will work face-to-face (virtually or in-person) with you throughout your education, to get you ready for a successful career in Salesforce development. Among other things, they will help you in the following:
You will be able to build your resume and portfolio with help from our experienced career coaching team. Together, you will work face-to-face to develop a job search plan that works best for your specific needs and skill set.
Our counselors will work with you to find the perfect job to kickstart your career. You’ll go through mock interviews and be coached until you are ready to ace your first interview as a developer.
As a DevMountain alumnus, you’ll get lifetime access to our exclusive “Meet n’ Hire” events. At these events you will be able to network and make connections with employers, most of whom are looking to potentially hire awesome new developers — with training in Salesforce coding — like you.

We recognize that adult learners come to class with a variable wealth of experience and prior knowledge. This richness and diversity can be leveraged to create amazing learning experiences. Our instructors have the flexibility to personalize learning paths to make sure each student is getting as much value out of their DevMountain experience as possible.
We realize that you are a Salesforce administrator – but there’s a chance that you (or someone else in class) aren’t familiar with some of Salesforce’s various features and clouds. To level-set, and to perhaps teach you something new, you’ll get an overview of everything Salesforce can do out of the box: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community Cloud, Chatter, Knowledge, record types, report building, and security. You’ll learn how to create objects and fields, page layouts, and list views.
At the Salesforce development bootcamp, we will give you a solid overview of all the declarative development tools built into Salesforce – as well as making sure that you know all of the pros and cons for each one. The declarative tools that we will cover include: workflow rules, process builders, flows, approval process, and web-to-lead.
At the bootcamp, you will also become familiar with SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language). This will allow you to learn how to build queries in order to pull useful information from the Salesforce database.
Become confident in Apex hosting. You will start learning Apex, Salesforce’s object-oriented programming language, by first learning about object-oriented programming and how to create triggers. Then you can develop more advanced Apex hosting skills in bulkification, test classes, and integrations.
We’ll also teach you how to use Salesforce Lightning and the Lightning Component Framework. In this course, you will learn about componentized architecture, eventing, and how to build lightning components.
