What Is Data Analytics and Why Should You Care?
There are lots of ways to make decisions. You could rely on the mystical, divining rods, casting lots, or horoscopes. Or you could try using things like data, facts, modeling, math, and science. It probably won’t surprise you that most companies prefer the second approach. (It’s so crazy, it just might work.)
It’s a golden age for data. With every keystroke, click, application, and purchase, the world is filling up with numbers and figures. But all that information is simply noise without someone to make sure it’s clean, reliable, and helpful. Enter the data analyst.
The data analyst might have a passion for sales, marketing, healthcare, strategy, operations, or any of the other elements that help businesses run smoothly. These are people who love efficiency, are hungry for insights, and who really want to see an organization flourish.

The 16-week Data Analytics course is designed to teach you how to collect and analyze data in meaningful and insightful ways, so you can work as a data analyst.
You will learn how to use modern analytical tools and languages. On completion, you will receive a certificate of completion, have projects you created for your portfolio, and be ready to pursue jr. data analyst positions in the tech industry.

What Does Data Analytics Remote Learning Look Like?
When taught remotely, Data Analytics is a course that’s designed to be as close to in-person as possible without being on-campus. There is live instruction, interaction with instructors, the ability to ask questions, and a way to work on projects with peers. You’ll just be at home.
The first half of the program will be a shared experience with students from all courses. Then, each specialization will split into their respective cohort to learn about their specific area of expertise and build portfolio projects with that skill set.
