What Is iOS Development Like?
It’s not hard to spot the iOS students on the Devmountain campus—they have a swagger. They are as passionate as other developers, but it looks like they get out of the house more.
If you’re someone who is obsessed with using technology to make the world a better or more interesting place, yet you never lose track of design, you’ll be right at home with the unorthodox individualists in our iOS program.
Out in the wild, they often work with product teams—sometimes including other devs, a UX designer or two, some QA help, and a marketing manager who uses words like viral or scalability. Though some iOS developers have more of a lone-entrepreneur vibe, and just like to start their own companies.
Would You Do Well in the iOS Program?
This is one of our more demanding (and awesome) programs. Students should have some light coding experience or be sure to complete their pre-work before the iOS development course. The following skills or attributes are also very helpful:

What is the iOS Development Course Like?
Over 16 demanding weeks in our iOS development bootcamp you’ll find out what it means to be an app developer. Using tools like Github and Xcode to collaborate, and languages like Objective-C and Swift to create, you’ll prepare for a career in tech.
Typically classes are Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m (MST). There is often homework on the evenings and weekends.

What Happens if I Apply for the iOS Course?
The application process isn’t about you proving yourself to us, rather it’s about you making sure the course will meet your needs and you have a reasonable chance at succeeding.
If you complete your application successfully, you’ll be admitted. If you’re no longer interested, then don’t pay your deposit and there will be no commitment. If you want to move ahead, then pay the deposit and get ready for class.
